Experimental Geography
Experimental Geography is a descendant of psychogeography. Defined by T. Paglen and N. Thompson as a juncture between geographical study and artistic experience of the Earth, I use the term mostly in the context of my travel-related projects I’ve created with The Travel Club (Klub putnika). As the poetics of walking and travelling, it’s closely related to Experimental Cartography, the practice of making strange maps.
