TALARIA System

TALARIA System (The Autonomous Lookup And Report Internet Agent System) – also named after the winged sandals, a typical icon of the Greek Messenger God Hermesis – is a multi-agent system developed as a solution to the common problem of gathering information from diverse Web sites. The system was written in Java, and implemented using the JADE modeling framework. TALARIA Logo was designed by Uroš Krčadinac.

Main features:

Human-like interaction, autonomy-related aspects of this system, and acting on behalf of the user emphasize the usability advantages of this agent-based software. It was developed for academic purposes at the University of Belgrade, and is part of the GOOD OLD AI Research Group efforts.

TALARIA was accepted by and presented at the Summer School of Multimedia Semantics 2007, University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. It was also voted for best 12 poster presentations. Uroš and Milan were the only non-doctoral participants of the school.
