Storytelling and Roll-Playing

I was enrolled in storytelling and pen & paper Roll-Playing Games for several years, developing many adventures, stories, and maps. Game mastering was my favourite passion for a while. You can see here one map, one riddle, and some characters, pictures, miniatures, and dice.

It is a shame that RPG hasn't developed into more deep, significant, and acknowledged art, because it certainly has all the elements of one. I have always saw it as a mixture of improvisational drama, interactive storytelling, and probability theory. When I was developing stories and plots, I tried to put psychologically developed characters, philosophical and ethical implications, and dramatic structure into it, with various innovations – like the parallel flash-back narratives or multiple time-forking. RPG can really contain catharsis, I've felt it couple of times! :)

GM improvisation - I loved it! Freeform it is. The power you have in forming a story out of the players' clay in real time, no other art (computer game or theater play, not even literature) could ever boost imagination and creativity like that. And I find the Best Dungeon Master Award at the Annual RPG Camp in Niš one of the dearest awards ever. :D

I'm not in RPG for a several years now, but maybe some time again... Let the dice roll!
